Expanded Monday morning early: Beauty as Virtuality
“When it comes to beauty, man posits himself as the norm of perfection… What does man hate? There is no doubt about this: he hates the twilight of his own type” – Nietzsche.
Man’s idea of ugliness has always been defined with reference to a specific model and do we not too often nowadays see the relationship between beautiful and ugly, acceptable and monstrous, changing, depending on the point of view? – WT, facebook friend.
My understanding of the human condition is that it is not us who hate the twilight of our own type. It is machine mind in us, which continues to usurp our minds one by one. It is that machine mind in us lifting us towards what Nietzsche called Übermensch,” but it is not human at all. Another way of looking at our relative reality is by seeing it in the light of the flexibility of our self perception, in this case in terms of our shifting definition of what is human. More generally it can be seen as our submission to a symbolic culture, of which beauty vs. ugliness is one of a host of superficial dichotomies.
Human-Existential Questions

Think of the dynamic intelligence of animals totally unspoilt by civilization. Imagine the exceptional particular/local, timely and concrete human-animal intelligence our ancestors had just before evolving the ability to speak fluent language, without the endless BS stories. “Particular/local, timely and concrete” meaning “human-existential.”
What if the actual evolution of language has been for the sake of the evolution of language itself, and fundamentally human-existentially destructive? What if the strongly abstract, universal and timeless kind of intelligence of civilized minds is a dismally impoverished kind of human-existential intelligence?
How is the kind of language we use wrong? What is a kind of language that would sustain human existence instead of driving it into transhuman extinction? The kind of language we want is a language that enhances the natural human-existential intelligence of a vibrant human animal, instead of subjecting human existence dismally to the existential dynamic of language/technology.

Today I started the human singularity revolution in all earnest.

The structure of the public forum at http://humansingularity.net/forum will reflect the structure of the human singularity strategic planning at http://humansingularity.net – At the top of each section of the forum there will be a sub-forum where members can suggest and discuss alternatives in this structural outline.
As the months go by the whole system will revolve towards a more human-centered adaptation of the english language as a template for the revolution of all civilized languages.

The success of the dynamics on the right constitute the projected outcomes on the left. There are three levels of projected outcomes and three levels of action. I will have to look at this perspective and the etymology of the formal terms.
